Job Summary:

Party Center Software, part of the Fullsteam organization, is looking for a meticulous and driven Quality Assurance professional to join our team and uphold the excellence of our software solutions. In this role, you’ll ensure our features and services are reliable and production-ready by rigorously evaluating new functionalities, pinpointing issues, and partnering with developers to resolve them.

You’ll perform critical regression testing on release candidates, contribute to and maintain our automated testing suite, and dive into production challenges to safeguard system performance. Comfortable with tools like SQL, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Office 365, you’ll thrive in a collaborative setting where your attention to detail and problem-solving skills help deliver top-tier results.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Test new features and enhancements, ensuring they meet functional and performance requirements prior to production deployment
  • Write clear, detailed, and actionable tickets in Jira to document bugs and issues for resolution by the development team
  • Collaborate closely with developers to troubleshoot, resolve, and verify fixes for identified defects
  • Conduct regression testing on release candidates as part of the standardized process for deploying updates to production services
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated tests to support new features and system updates
  • Investigate and assist in resolving production issues to ensure system stability and user satisfaction
  • Document testing processes, results, and workflows in Confluence to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base

Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, both manual and automated
  • Experience with SQL for querying databases and validating data integrity
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Bitbucket) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers
  • Excellent communication skills to document findings and articulate issues effectively via Slack and Confluence
  • Comfortable adapting to evolving priorities and maintaining automated test suites as the system grows

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing roles
  • Hands-on experience with SQL for data validation and testing purposes
  • Working knowledge of Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, and Slack for development and collaboration workflows
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and reporting
  • Experience contributing to or maintaining automated testing frameworks is a plus
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles and release processes
