ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Vice President, System Development will lead the expansion of our business by driving market entry with new hospital systems, developing strategic partnerships, and spearheading our National Account strategy. This executive will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and nurturing new logos that drive revenue growth, while also ensuring our service models remain economically sustainable and aligned with customer needs. 

We are seeking a proven growth leader with a track record of building strong relationships with leading health systems and IDNs who will continue to drive growth for the organization. As a growth architect and strategic leader, the SVP will develop and execute go-to-market strategies within our current footprint while also unlocking new market segments. This role requires a blend of business development, strategy, and execution, ensuring that innovative programs are effectively positioned for success. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Growth & Market Expansion 

• Develop and execute a systematic approach to business expansion, identifying and pursuing new market opportunities that align with our strengths and long-term strategy. 

• Lead new logo acquisition, sourcing, nurturing, and closing key partnerships within large, multi-state hospital systems that drive revenue growth. 

• Design and implement go-to-market strategies that support both existing market penetration and new segment entry. 

• Establish and refine economic service models that ensure the sustainability and profitability of new and existing programs. 

 

Strategic Partnerships & National Accounts 

• Own and drive the National Account strategy, developing long-term partnerships with health systems, payers, and other key stakeholders. 

• Build and maintain relationships with executive leaders at major healthcare systems and industry partners to drive adoption of our services. 

• Develop tailored solutions for strategic partners, ensuring our offerings are differentiated and aligned with their evolving needs. 

• Identify opportunities for joint ventures, alliances, and innovative collaborations that enhance our market presence and competitiveness. 

 

Programmatic Growth & Service Innovation 

• Drive programmatic expansion, ensuring that new service lines and offerings are positioned for sustainable growth. 

• Work cross-functionally to align service innovation with market demand, ensuring that offerings are both commercially viable and operationally scalable. 

• Ensure customer-centric program development, leveraging insights from key stakeholders to refine and evolve offerings. 

• Partner with marketing, sales, and product teams to craft effective value propositions for new services and markets. 

 

Financial & Operational Leadership 

• Develop business cases, financial models, and investment rationales for new growth initiatives. 

• Partner with finance and operations teams to ensure that growth initiatives are scalable, profitable, and aligned with broader business objectives. 

• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of market shifts.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Proven track record of developing and executing market expansion strategies, including new customer acquisition and partnership development. 

• Deep understanding of healthcare economics, reimbursement models, and payer/provider dynamics. 

• Strong financial acumen, with the ability to develop business cases and drive profitable growth. 

• Exceptional relationship-building skills, with experience engaging and negotiating at the C-suite level. 

• C-suite experience within large hospital systems preferred. 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• MD degree strongly preferred. 

• 15+ years of experience in business development, system growth, or strategic partnerships within healthcare, medical services, or related industries.
