Job description

Advocates for Human Potential is seeking an IT Product Manager to support product strategy and delivery on digital platforms for primarily State clients. AHP is experiencing unprecedented growth in data-driven projects reshaping behavioral healthcare delivery in the United States and we need a pro-active individual who can work across multiple project teams to develop effective and efficient web applications.

The successful candidate will have experience turning business goals and needs into user stories and product features, particularly in the data product development space. This individual must readily collaborate with design, programming, and data engineering teams to translate single project successes into standard enterprise offerings.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Help curate a strategic roadmap for translating single data-product builds into enterprise offerings.
  • Shape our technology catalog to drive company-wide growth opportunities.
  • Work with external and internal clients to define digital solutions in support of a product vision.
  • Identify features and define a backlog of user stories with acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with design and development teams.
  • Collaborate with economists and data scientists in the design and development of interactive data products.
  • Validate that the solutions developed meet the acceptance criteria.
  • Use metrics and data to measure success and plan improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Three+ years of relevant experience. Master’s degree in a related discipline is a plus.

Preferred Skills/Prerequisites

  • Experience managing a portfolio of concurrent products at different stages of development.
  • Experience working on client-facing projects to define, document, and prioritize product features and user stories.
  • Experience delivering public-facing, data-intensive web applications.
  • Experience with product management, human centered design, and agile development.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to translate qualitative and quantitative feedback into product requirements.
  • Experience with web applications, and BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau), ArcGIS Online, Google Analytics, and/or SQL databases is a plus.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment, particularly with state and or federal clients is a plus.

Salary Range: $95,000-$129,000

The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the AHP salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be high or low in the range based on a range of factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. The range listed is just one component of AHP’s total compensation package for employees.
