Job description

As the Director, Global and Americas Packaging Commercial Excellence you will have a high-impact in building Global Packaging revenue, profit and competitive position. You will lead as an individual contributor and drive customer value enhancement and profit margin expansion through continuous improvement in sales pipeline management, pricing practices, selling processes, customer segmentation & data utilization and identifying selling skill capability needs. You will be a member of Global Packaging Leadership Team and will drive accountability within all levels of the Packaging Coatings business to achieve Sales Excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Change champion to drive sales excellence principles into all sales force teams within the region and develop leading and influential relationships with other functions.
  • Drive implementation of Sales Enablement tools & processes with critical role in leading Salesforce.com implementation and driving accountability for adoption
  • Contribute to the definition, support development and implementation of standardized processes and tools to enable commercial teams to execute growth strategies.
  • Support the deployment of pipeline governance process including consistent operating cadence & KPIs to enable sales team to prioritize and convert prospects and growth opportunities in the most effective manner.
  • Streamline sales process, from lead generation to deal closure through rigorous cadences
  • Support Bonus & Incentive management – work with country teams on implementation & tracking, in partnership with Finance and HR.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership for informed decision-making
  • Update customer segmentation and data analysis for decision making
  • Assess capabilities gaps and mobilize resources to train sales teams on new processes and new tools, base practices
  • Provide pricing analysis of the value chain, suggest pricing mechanisms based on value
  • Lead value model creation for customer
  • Leverage digital tools to optimize pricing decisions

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in finance, business or a related field is required and
  • 10+ years of experience in areas such as finance /planning & analysis /business development and sales/commercial operations management.
  • 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
  • Experience in the chemical industry or related B2B industrial sectors is a strong advantage.
  • Good command of English and communication skill within and among department, a team player.
  • Will work independent with certain level of guidance provided.
