We are seeking an experienced Chief Legal Counsel to lead our legal team, provide strategic legal guidance, and ensure compliance across international markets. Key Responsibilities
Legal Strategy & Advisory
Act as a key legal advisor to the CEO, COO, Board of Directors, and senior management on critical business matters.
Develop and implement legal strategies that align with company growth initiatives.
Oversee corporate governance, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance globally.
Contract & Negotiation Management
Draft, review, and negotiate key contracts, including customer agreements, partnerships, vendor contracts, and employee agreements.
Ensure contracts comply with legal standards and protect business interests.
Develop new contract templates for emerging business lines.
Compliance & Risk Management
Oversee compliance with international laws, including OFAC regulations.
Identify and mitigate potential legal risks to safeguard the company’s reputation.
Establish a legal risk management framework that supports business objectives.
Litigation & Dispute Resolution
Manage litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution in global jurisdictions.
Collaborate with external counsel and lead legal proceedings when necessary.
Corporate Governance
Advise the Board of Directors on governance matters.
Serve as corporate secretary and prepare key legal documents.
External Relations & Representation
Represent the company in legal discussions with regulators, external counsel, and stakeholders.
Act as the primary legal point of contact for government agencies and industry groups.
What You Need to Succeed
10+ years of legal experience, with 5+ years in an executive leadership role
Strong expertise in international business law (US, Europe, Asia)
SaaS/IT industry experience preferred
Hands-on approach with the ability to personally execute key legal tasks
Experience in contract negotiation, compliance, and litigation management
Proven ability to develop and lead legal strategies that support business growth
Fluent English and strong executive communication skills
