This role is based in India and offers a clear progression path to support senior leadership in financial strategy and business expansion.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance, M&A, and fundraising, with leadership potential to step into a senior executive role. This individual will collaborate with the global CFO and CEO to execute strategic initiatives and oversee financial planning and investments.
Key Responsibilities
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
Identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities aligned with business goals.
Lead financial modeling, due diligence, and deal structuring for acquisitions.
Ensure smooth integration of acquired companies by working with cross-functional teams.
Fundraising & Investor Relations:
Develop and execute strategies to secure funding through equity, debt, or strategic partnerships.
Build and maintain relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions.
Prepare and present investment proposals, financial projections, and business plans.
Financial Strategy & Planning:
Support the CFO in managing P&L, cash flow, and financial forecasting.
Develop detailed financial models to drive growth and profitability.
Analyze financial performance and recommend improvement strategies.
Leadership Development & Succession Planning:
Work closely with the CFO to gain exposure to high-level financial decision-making.
Take ownership of key responsibilities, including P&L management, investor relations, and financial reporting.
Build and lead a high-performing finance team in India to support global growth.
Operational & Compliance Excellence:
Align financial goals with business strategies and operational plans.
Optimize financial processes, ensuring efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Leverage technology and data analytics to enhance decision-making and reporting.
Education
Qualifications & Experience:
MBA in Finance or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
CPA/CFA certification is a plus.
Experience
7–10 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A, private equity, or investment banking.
Proven track record of leading financial analysis, deal execution, and fundraising initiatives.
