This is a remote UK-based role, supporting the UKI and Northern EMEA marketing team with managing demand generation activities including field, channel and alliance marketing programmes. You will work closely to build strong relationships across sales, channel and alliance teams to support the execution of marketing plans that drive net-new business, increase share of wallet in existing business and accelerate opportunities.
The successful candidate will have strong communication and relationship management skills. You will have the ability to take project management of the execution of key marketing programmes, such as events – both 3rd party and direct Commvault events. These will include event programmes from Commvault presence at large format trade shows, engagement at industry conferences, executive dinners and workshops and more.
This role will also help to coordinate the execution of digital and account specific demand generation programmes in the region and will need to build strong relationships and interlock the regional sales teams.
You will work in conjunction with the Northern EMEA Marketing Director and partner business managers to develop and execute channel marketing programmes, including digital, events, lead generation and more. You will come with a “roll up your sleeves” and get stuck in mentality.
You will be responsible for coordinating administrative and logistical components of multiple marketing programmes ongoing each quarter and will need to be able to work several initiatives at the same time. This role is best suited for someone who is a strong multi-tasker.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, executing and monitoring performance of field and channel marketing plan with oversight from the Northern EMEA Marketing Director
- Support logistical pre/during/ post execution of field events, including tradeshows, conferences, workshops and more.
- Monitor field program set-up to optimize tracking of programs.
- ravel to support local events and activities.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders in both sales, channel and marketing.
Position Requirements
- 3+ years marketing experience, preferably in B2B marketing
- You will be based in the UK with occasional travel, primarily to London and the M4 region.
- Preferred background in technology marketing, with favour to cyber security.
- Proven experience in event management and execution
- Understanding of channel marketing and some experience with working with IT technology resellers and distributors
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple diverse projects.
- Creative thinking to design compelling programs, aligned to strategic objectives.
- A collaborative and flexible personality who adapts easily to change and a willingness to learn new things.
- A winning attitude.
