Duration: 6 months initial contract Location: Remote within US , must be able to travel onsite on first week of hire Hourly pay rate: Range of $55-$62 per hour w2 **Client is not able to do sponsorship of visa or C2C**
Responsibilities
Work with other engineers to plan and design how engineering components will fit together
Design and implement Web Application and RESTful Web Services API for DevSecOps
Research and integrate security solutions into our system
Onboard internal applications to DevSecOps pipeline
Produce excellent, detailed design and development documentation
Work under tight time constraints and respond to evolving requirements
Collaborates with other team members in development technologies, tools, and processes
Provides feature analysis from an engineering perspective
Drives technical objectives and architectural initiatives
Qualifications
5+ years of programming experience in Java developing web server applications, object-oriented design and design patterns, and passionate about writing high quality and well-architected code
Experience in building high-performance web services. Experience with design and implementation of modern web application architecture or web services architecture and supporting API frameworks.
Experience with applications built using the Spring Framework, Spring Boot and Hibernate ORM.
Experience with relational databases.
Experience with public cloud design like AWS or equivalent.
Strong understanding of engineering standard methodologies – requirement gathering and analysis, design and develop secure and scalable code with unit tests, participate in code reviews and documentation, experience with multiple technology stacks.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

Experience with integrating tools with CI/CD pipeline
Experience with Application Security Tool like SAST, SCA, and DAST
Experience with multiple development methodologies such as Agile, DevOps etc.
Experience with JavaScript and ReactJS
Experience with building and maintaining backend server applications using Python and Golang.
