We are seeking a talented and motivated Account Manager to join our team, reporting to our Sales Manager, US & Europe. The candidate will be responsible for managing our accounts in Europe, developing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth across the Wiley portfolio in the healthcare (hospital) market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for exceeding targets.

We are specifically looking for candidates with experience selling STM (Scientific, Technical, and Medical) publishing products to healthcare institutions, including hospitals and healthcare organisations.

How you will make an impact:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of healthcare accounts, driving renewals and identifying new opportunities.
  • Develop and execute account strategies, ensuring customer needs are met with our journal and non-journal products.
  • Analyse market trends, customer performance, and regulatory requirements to inform business decisions.
  • Lead data-driven negotiations and collaborate with internal teams to secure successful agreements.
  • Maintain a strong opportunity pipeline and utilise CRM tools effectively.

We are looking for people who have:

  • Experience in institutional sales within publishing, particularly within STM publishing and selling to healthcare institutions
  • Proven success in selling to healthcare customers.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Fluent English communication; Spanish language skills are an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a high-performing team.
