As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by managing financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, experience with financial analysis, and the ability to streamline processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, providing insights into financial performance and trends.
Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for improving financial performance.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to set and monitor financial goals.
Monitor expenses and revenue against the budget, ensuring the organization operates within financial constraints and advising on necessary adjustments.

Compliance & Internal Controls

Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
Assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Develop and implement internal controls to improve financial processes and prevent errors or fraud.

Accounts Payable & Receivable Management

Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
Manage cash flow and reconcile bank statements to maintain accurate financial records.

Team Collaboration & Mentorship

Collaborate with other departments, including finance, HR, and operations, to ensure financial goals align with company objectives.
Provide mentorship and training to junior accounting staff, supporting their professional development.

Process Improvement

Experience: 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a strong focus on financial reporting and analysis.
Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a plus.
