Job Summary: Assurex is seeking an experienced Software Test Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the test effort for our software applications, developing and executing test plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality solutions are delivered to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for our software applications, ensuring that all requirements are met and quality standards are upheld.
- Lead a team of test engineers to ensure that testing activities are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, product managers, and project managers, to ensure that software applications meet customer requirements and business needs.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, and JMeter.
- Develop and maintain performance and load-testing scenarios to ensure that software applications are scalable and reliable.
- Identify and report defects and work with development teams to resolve them.
- Continuously assess and improve testing processes and methodologies to ensure that quality standards are upheld.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and methodologies, and share your knowledge with the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, and JMeter.
- Experience with performance and load testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
