Job Summary:
As a Junior Front-End Developer, you will be part of a collaborative development team, focusing on creating efficient, scalable, and accessible user interfaces with React/Next.js. You will work closely with designers and senior developers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop new user-facing features using React/Next.js.
– Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
– Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
– Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
– Work with backend developers to integrate UI components with APIs and data services.
– Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.
– Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and best practices.
– Collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
– Debugging and resolving technical issues.
– Contribute to team meetings and report on project status.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
– Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
– Hands-on experience with React/Next.js and its core principles
– Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
– Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
– Knowledge of RESTful APIs
– Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, NPM)
– Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
– Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
– A knack for benchmarking and optimization
– Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git)
– Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have:
– Experience with TypeScript
– Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
– Experience with front-end testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha
