Job description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Wordpress developer. This is a remote, project-based position.

In this role, you will be able to work on new WordPress websites, plugins and themes, and customize existing ones. This includes launching new websites, maintaining existing ones, and improving loading performances.

  • Page building (with and without page builders)
  • Code review and optimization
  • Web Core Vitals optimization
  • Bug monitoring and fixing
  • Implementation of backend and front-end features
  • WooCommerce e-commerce development
  • Wordpress speed optimization & caching implementation
  • Set up complex server configurations, load balancers, version control via Git
  • Integrating API's into Wordpress
  • Turn briefs to development roadmaps and keep up to date on the status of development
  • Manage external resources & liaise with theme and plugin developers
Requirements
3+ years experience with Wordpress
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL & PHP Frameworks, JS and JS Toolkits
Experience developing using REST APIs - Advantage
Working knowledge of GIT - Advantage
Experience with cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsive design
Highly organized, able to form road maps
Experience working in remote environment
Fluent English communication skills
Experience working remotely & asynchronously
Experience working with page builders such as Elementor - Advantage
Experience with affiliate & link tracking servers - Advantage
