PROJECT PORTFOLIO ANALYST (HEALTHCARE)

Project Portfolio Analysts work within an organization to plan, schedule, oversee, and manage a large collection of projects in support of the strategic goals and business objectives of the organization.  These roles work closely with business leaders to evaluate, prioritize, and select projects based on their potential for return on investment and contribution to the organization’s overall objectives; partner with project managers to provide resources, identify potential risks, and resolve issues; and monitor the progress of projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget – all in service of making our members’ health journeys easier.

What You Bring to Cambia: 

Qualifications and Certifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience managing multiple projects or a portfolio of small-scale, concurrent projects or an equivalent combination of education and work experience


Skills and Attributes (Not limited to):  

  • Proven work experience as a Project Manager or Project Portfolio Manager

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools

  • Experience with budget forecasting/planning, strategic planning, risk management, and change management

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills (both oral and written) with demonstrated ability to effectively interact and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to think out of the box and generate creative solutions

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus

What You Will Do at Cambia (Not limited to):   

  • Manage small-to-medium-sized project portfolios from project initiation to completion

  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project portfolio performance

  • Provide regular reporting and updates to stakeholders on project portfolio status, including progress and risks

  • Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans as needed

  • Manage relationships with stakeholders and external vendors at all levels

  • Assist Project Portfolio Managers with the management and administration of larger portfolios


The expected hiring range for The Project Portfolio Analyst is $100k–$136k, depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; performance history; and work location. The bonus target for this position is 15%.  The current full salary range for this position is $94k Low/ $118k MRP / $154k High
