Roles and Responsibilities
To perform vehicle-level TARA based on the attack vector-based approach to derive the platform-level security goals.
Breakdown vehicle level requirements into subsystem requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software development to integrate robust cybersecurity practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Perform vulnerability assessments, and risk assessments on automotive components.
Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and best practices for securing vehicle from cyber threats and attacks.
Conduct penetration testing on automotive ECUs, communication protocols, and interfaces to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
Design, implement, and test security mechanisms such as intrusion detection and prevention systems, secure boot, secure communication protocols, and encryption.
Participate in incident response activities, investigating and mitigating security incidents
Contribute to the development of secure coding practices and conduct code reviews to identify security deviations.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering
2+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Adaptive AUTOSAR
Familiarity with Adaptive AUTOSAR concepts, and communication protocols like Ethernet, CAN, LIN
Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and experience with software development tools and methodologies.
Basic understanding of automotive diagnostics, functional safety principles
Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity standards and regulations (ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE WP.29, etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion to learn and upskill in the domain.
Effective communication skills for collaboration within a team.
