The opportunity

HVDC is project specific solution, not a commodity product. However, the exponential increase of HVDC tenders and projects require a change where designs can be reused between projects.

The HVDC Base design, consisting of base documents, instructions and base modules, is the starting point for all tenders. By using the base design

  • The tendering and execution time can be shortened
  • Best practice based on global experience and incrementally optimized engineering
  • Increased quality
  • Proven solutions, no technology gaps
  • Lower risk for time, cost, quality slippages during execution

How you’ll make an impact

  • In this role you are responsible for developing, driving and maintaining base design release process
  • Maintain and improve the base module structure for HVDC base design portfolio. Keep HVDC base design DocSets up-to-date.
  • Coordinate base maintenance activities, cross functional, at engineering and products
  • Collect lesson Learned, QIT etc. into the release system, plan, execute releases
  • Manage the base design backlog
  • Process Leader for base design maintenance process in Adonis
  • Drive the development and implementation of a new tool for the base design release system
  • Hold meetings/seminaries to train people within your organization to work with the different system regarding Base design, DocSet and PLM

Your background

  • Experience from working with HVDC in large complex projects preferably in System design, Plants, C&P or Valves
  • Product Management experience is a merit
  • You are thorough and accurate
  • You shall have a holistic view and proficiency to see beyond your own direct scope (“silos”).

  • You take on challenges with an innovative and problem-solving approach.
  • Fluency in English is a must. Other languages are a merit.
  • We would like you to have a relevant university degree
