We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Delivery Manager to join our DTC 360 team. This unique role will involve managing complex technical projects, driving the execution of a role-based access control (RBAC) structure, and leading a cross-functional team in the development and delivery of critical software solutions.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, technical project management, and a proven track record of leading large, cross-functional teams. Additionally, the candidate must be comfortable interfacing with software development teams, executives, and managing aggressive schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Project Management: Lead day-to-day management of a cross-functional team, ensuring that all technical deliverables are completed on time and meet the highest standards.
- Schedule Management: Develop, manage, and track project schedules to ensure the team meets aggressive deadlines for deliverables.
- RBAC Structure Ownership: Lead the development, execution, and management of a complex RBAC structure for a large organization, ensuring proper user role assignments and provisioning.
- Team Organization and Leadership: Manage and organize the efforts of a cross-functional team, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and progress toward project goals.
- Development Support: Provide hands-on support to software developers, including debugging, release management, and application security practices.
- Design & UX Input: Assist with light design work, including creating mockups and proof-of-concept options to support new features and functionality.
- Data Integrity & Mapping: Support the development of data mappings, ensuring accuracy and integrity, and assist in the creation of leadership-level dashboards.
- Leadership Engagement: Brief leaders on new features and functionalities, addressing feedback and refining product direction as necessary.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve defects and issues with a solution-oriented mindset, focusing on timely, effective resolution.
- Prioritization & Focus: Manage the urgency and focus of the team to ensure critical deliverables are met, while keeping calm under pressure.
- Software Development Expertise: Leverage your experience in software development to contribute to the technical execution and review of project components.
- Workflow Automation & Notifications: Understand the business value of integrating logic workflows into the DTC 360 tool, including automated notifications for users who need to take action, review, or approve tasks.
- Dashboard Development Awareness: Have a strong understanding of dashboard development and creation, with an emphasis on ensuring that data flows in a logical order to prioritize key information at the top.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in software development or related technical roles.
- 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams of at least 8 people.
- Proven experience in delivering complex software solutions in an Agile environment.
- Extensive experience in RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) design and implementation for large organizations.
- Experience with modern collaboration tools and software development methodologies.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong working knowledge of software architecture and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with bug fixing, release management, and application security.
- Ability to direct and engage software development teams effectively.
- Solid understanding of UX design principles for creating mockups and proofs of concept.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize, manage competing demands, and work under pressure.
- Experience with disruptive technologies, particularly from large mobile development companies, is preferred.
- Familiarity with data integrity and executive-level reporting/dashboard development is a plus.
Certifications (Preferred but not required):
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
- Leadership/Management certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Agile Leadership)
