Job description

Here’s a summary of the role:

Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive impactful advertising solutions?

As a Senior Manager, Audience Data at YouGov, you will play a key role in expanding our Audience Data proposition. You'll work directly with agencies, media owners, and brands to activate YouGov’s rich data assets across the digital advertising ecosystem. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team integrating data across cleanrooms, ID partners, and onboarding platforms to deliver measurable value to clients.

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):

As a Senior Manager, Audience Data, you will combine analytical skills with a deep understanding of digital advertising to build strategic partnerships, manage integrations, and drive revenue.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Client & Partner Engagement: Sell and manage audience data projects, from campaign activations to large-scale integrations.
  • Be the primary point of contact for YouGov’s audience partners, ensuring successful collaboration and revenue growth.
  • Work with internal teams to enhance YouGov’s data activation offerings and simplify delivery processes. Position YouGov’s Activation solutions as a natural extension of our insights and planning tools.
  • Provide data engineering teams with client feedback and technical requirements to develop scalable solutions.
  • Guide internal stakeholders on how to leverage Activation to maximize client impact. Assist clients in enhancing their first-party data with YouGov insights and create actionable use cases.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and deliver optimal audience solutions for their campaign goals.
  • Develop structured and automated data delivery processes for seamless integration with partners.
  • Maintain documentation on workflows, partner details, and project processes.
  • Analyze audience usage reports and share insights with sales and client teams to drive growth.
  • Utilize data clean rooms and onboarding partners to match YouGov data with first-party datasets.
These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:
  • Proven experience in data analytics or digital advertising, with a strong understanding of the digital ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with DMPs, DSPs, data clean rooms, and ID providers (e.g., LiveRamp, Xandr, TTD, Google, AWS).
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret large datasets, identify patterns, and communicate insights effectively.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: hands-on approach with a proactive attitude to overcome challenges and optimize processes.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-Oriented: High standard for accuracy and quality in data handling and project execution.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.

It would be great if you had these to, but we’ll support you if you don’t:

  • Experience working within an agency, media, or ad tech environment.
  • Hands-on experience with data platforms and audience targeting solutions.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.

If you are ready to take the next step in your career and drive the future of audience data activation, we’d love to hear from you!
