Job description

About us

Pomelo Care is a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, engineers and problem solvers who are passionate about improving care for moms and babies. We are transforming outcomes for pregnant people and babies with evidence-based pregnancy and newborn care at scale. Our technology-driven care platform enables us to engage patients early, conduct individualized risk assessments for poor pregnancy outcomes, and deliver coordinated, personalized virtual care throughout pregnancy, NICU stays, and the first postpartum year. We measure ourselves by reductions in preterm births, NICU admissions, c-sections and maternal mortality; we improve outcomes and reduce healthcare spend.

Role Description

Your North Star: Leverage marketing technology tools to craft world-class, personalized campaigns to optimize our patient lifecycle goals from enrollment to engagement.

In this role, you will build, test, execute, and optimize end-to-end, multi-channel owned and paid marketing strategies to drive patient enrollment and retention. You will be responsible for defining segmentation strategies, building and optimizing personalized and real-time patient marketing journeys and campaigns.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong technical marketing background and a passion for innovative problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in email, push, in-app, and SMS channel best practices, as well as expertise in martech tool optimization and building advanced personalization at scale.

Responsibilities:
  • Own strategic marketing campaign launches including creating marketing materials and managing the approvals process with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Architect, build, test, and launch end-to-end, multi-channel automated campaigns (e.g., email, push, direct mail, SMS, social or paid media) bringing to life complex personalization, at-scale.
  • Define, scope, and prioritize A/B and multivariate tests to optimize content and channel performance to improve conversion and retention in partnership with Data Science, Product, and Marketing stakeholders.
  • Bring new marketing channels and technology to Pomelo by collaborating in strategic use-case planning, advocating for both technical and creative requirements, tool configuration, and migrating campaigns and assets
  • Develop reports and dashboards in collaboration with the Data Science team and report out on insights on campaign performance to identify opportunities to increase enrollment rate, decrease time to conversion, and improve retention.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Outreach, and Clinical teams to ensure that marketing campaigns and strategies are adjusted to meet client needs and contractual requirements, while also aligning with Pomelo's care delivery capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance and best practices with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, HIPAA, and other applicable laws.
Who you are:
  • An ESP expert: you have 4+ years of proven experience in lifecycle, growth, CRM, or email marketing – and technical complexity in campaign configuration, html, css, and liquid logic call your name.
  • Deeply martech-saavy: you understand end-to-end how martech works: from the critical connections of real-time CDP data pipelines, to building the complexities of connected and dynamic content in automated campaigns to achieve personalization, all the way to channel limitations and delivery best practices.
  • User experience obsessed: you understand that the best marketing comes from an understanding of user needs and fulfilling those.
  • Passionate about insights: you care about moving the needle and use analytical skills, a sharp attention to detail, and experience running A/B tests to drive performance
  • Comfortable with ambiguity: you thrive in fast paced environments with large amounts of trust and autonomy to own your work.
