Role Overview

We're seeking a highly talented Intermediate Software Engineer to join our engineering team in building our innovative workplace analytics platform. You will work within a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and workplace experts to implement features and maintain our platform. In this role, you will apply AI technologies to workplace data and work with emerging technologies to build cutting-edge products that meaningfully improve workplace environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Core Development: Implement features for our web applications and data analytics platform; integrate with workplace tools like Slack/Teams; write clean, testable code; incorporate AI capabilities for actionable insights.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with product managers to translate requirements into solutions; partner with workplace scientists and data teams to implement data-driven insights.
  • Technical Operations: Debug production issues; optimize performance; contribute to monitoring systems; write tests; support CI/CD pipelines and releases.
  • Growth & Innovation: Participate in architectural discussions; document processes; stay current with industry trends; explore cutting-edge tools to enhance our products.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • 2-4 years of professional software development experience
  • Proficiency in C# and experience with .NET framework
  • Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React)
  • Knowledge of backend development and RESTful API design
  • Familiarity with LLMs and AI-assisted development tools
  • Experience with relational databases, version control systems, and CI/CD
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS experience and knowledge of containerization technologies
  • Experience with microservices and serverless computing
  • Knowledge of message brokers (RabbitMQ, AWS SQS)
  • Experience with Python for backend development
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design
  • Interest in emerging technologies and ability to learn quickly
Salary Range

$105,000 - $130,000 NZD annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to your base salary, we offer equity through our Employee Share Option Plan.
