Summary
Gainwell is seeking a Content Strategist to develop and manage marketing content that supports our market awareness, thought leadership, and social media initiatives. This role will focus on creating compelling, high-quality content that aligns with Gainwell’s brand voice and resonates with key decision-makers, including Medicaid directors, state legislative leaders, and CIOs. The ideal candidate has content strategy experience, strong writing skills, experience in B2B or B2G content creation, and the ability to collaborate with designers and marketers to develop engaging materials.
Your role in our mission
Content Planning
- Manage the overall editorial plan and calendar
- Manage social media plan and calendar
- Develop market-informed key themes
- Manage content publishing, distribution, and ensure that content is updated and fresh
Content Development and Messaging Execution
- In collaboration with our account-based marketing team, develop content for demand generation campaigns, including anchor assets, email copy, landing pages, and digital ad messaging.
- In collaboration with the product marketing team, develop e-books, infographics, blog posts, case studies, and short form white papers, and blog posts to support Gainwell market awareness and thought leadership initiatives.
Content Optimization & Brand Alignment
- Ensure content aligns with Gainwell’s brand voice, messaging, and visual identity.
- Collaborate with designers to ensure written content and visual assets work together seamlessly.
- Apply SEO best practices to digital content to improve visibility and engagement.
Collaboration & Content Execution Support
- Work with marketing and sales teams to tailor content for different audience segments.
- Assist in editing and refining existing marketing content to enhance clarity and effectiveness.
- Support internal communications and corporate messaging as needed.
What we're looking for
- 5–7 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or marketing content creation and management.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with experience in healthcare B2B or B2G marketing.
- Ability to translate technical or complex solutions into clear, compelling content.
- Experience collaborating with graphic designers, campaign managers, and sales teams.
- Experience with social media and search engine marketing
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, marketing automation platforms (Marketo, HubSpot), and content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
What you should expect in this role
- This is a full-time permanent regular salaried (W-2) employee position.
- Monday through Friday work schedule (40 hours per week).

- Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation if hired.

The pay range for this position is $80,600.00 - $115,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
