Senior Cloud Network Engineer

An international igaming company is looking for a Senior Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage their global cloud and on-prem network infrastructure. This hands-on role reports to the Network Team Lead.

The role is offered on a fully remote basis, available to candidates in the Philippines or Vietnam, working in the EST (USA) time zone. 
Salary up to $2300/month.

Role and Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and optimize network infrastructure in AWS, Azure, and cloud environments (Nginx)
• Ensure optimal performance and security of on-premises and cloud network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues
• Lead and execute network migrations, including data center relocations and cloud transformations
• Plan and manage disaster recovery operations, ensuring rapid response to critical issues
• Manage network segmentation, firewalls, and intrusion detection
• Collaborate with IT, Security, and DevOps teams to integrate cloud and on-site network solutions

Education, Skills and Experience

• 10+ years of working experience as a Senior Network Engineer or similar
• 5+ years of working experience with AWS and Azure cloud networking
• 3+ years managing and optimizing load balancers (AWS ELB, Nginx, Azure Load Balancer)
• Fluent in English (C1+ level), both written and spoken
• Certifications in Cisco CCNP, AZ-305, and Advanced Networking AWS (mandatory)
• Certification in RHCE, LPIC-1 or LPIC-2
• Certifications in CCIE, CISSP, and/or CCSP are a plus
• Proven track record in executing large-scale network migrations
• Expertise in VPNs, Firewalls, Switching, Routing, network security, and high-availability architecture
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Willingness to work according to EST (USA) timezone

• Fully remote (Philippines or Vietnam)
• Contract -you invoice the company (1-year renewable)
• 15 days of paid leave per year

  • 1-hour assessment with a 3-day deadline
  • Interview with HR Manager and Hiring Manager
