Job Summary:

This position sits within the Vulnerability and Threat Management program at Sysco where you’ll play a key role in identifying and analyzing vulnerabilities along with determining best practices for remediation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of the latest security vulnerabilities, techniques and industry best practices
  • Collaborate with various teams across Sysco for remediation, decommissioning EOL devices, threat intelligence, and tool maintenance
  • Perform security monitoring, analyze logs, and configure discovery scans
  • Utilize reconnaissance tools understand the global landscape for unknown, rogue, and newly discovered assets
  • Ability to configure and conduct vulnerability scans using Tenable.io and Tanium within the environment

Education Required:

  • Security Certification

Education Preferred:

  • Cloud, Security+, Network +, Tenable.io VM or OT, Tanium Comply or Patch

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 7 years in IT 5 years in vulnerability and threat management

Experience Preferred:

  • 10 years in IT, Minimum 7 years in vulnerability and threat management

Licenses/Certification Required:

  • Security Certification

Licenses/Certification Preferred:

  • Cloud, Security+, Network +, Tenable.io VM or OT, Tanium Comply or Patch

Skills and Abilities:

  • Wide knowledge of application and IT product diversity, interoperability, and extensive knowledge in IT security
  • Ability to configure and conduct vulnerability scans using VM tools such as Tenable.io and Tanium
  • Understanding of VM lifecycle within cloud environment for discovering scanning, analyzing, and triage
  • Ability to interpret threat and vulnerability data using Sysco’s vulnerability scanning tools
  • Provide patching teams details needed for prioritized remediation leveraging Kenna
