A Brief Overview
Maintains the operational aspect of SHC's cash, debt and investments programs.

What you will do

  • Performs a variety of analytical and reporting duties in support of Treasury Services

  • Carries out debt operations, including:

  • Timely payment of debt service and collateral posting.

  • Timely payment of all administrative invoices related to the debt program (rating agencies, trustees, remarketing agents…)

  • Monitoring of project funds and process construction draws or requisitions

  • Preparation of Letter of credit applications

  • Participation in debt issuances and preparation of materials for governmental agencies and other parties

  • Assists with the administration of investment portfolios, including:

  • Daily oversight of investment portfolios including working with external investment managers, custodian banks, and other vendors

  • Monitoring compliance with SHC Investment Policy, portfolio guidelines and other key investment restrictions

  • Investment portfolio performance reporting and analytics.

  • Development and maintenance of investment forecasts

  • Reviews lease contracts, conduct buy vs. lease analysis, and report on equipment leasing activity

  • Prepares debt compliance reports

  • Provides audit, internal compliance and due diligence support.

  • Develops and maintains financial models and materials for meetings and presentations to interested financial parties, board of directors and the executive management team.

  • Cross-trains on other aspects of Treasury Services and provides back-up to these functions when needed

  • Assist with various projects as needed

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline/field from an accredited college or university

Experience Qualifications

  • Two (2) years minimum of directly related work experience required.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Understanding of fixed income finance.

  • Understanding of investment reporting.

  • Conceptual knowledge of lease contracts.

  • Familiarity with short-term financing vehicles.

  • Familiarity with interest rate swaps.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Must be detail oriented and well organized.

  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, dependability, and flexibility.

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and stay focused on key deliverables when unexpected challenges arise.

  • Willing to adapt quickly to changes in direction.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop financial analyses.

  • Ability to effectively express ideas in both written and oral form.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $49.19 - $63.95 per hour

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
