Job description

This is a remote position.

The Project Business Analyst (BA) will provide support for the Procura Replacement Project with a specific focus on PARIS integration work, reporting requirements, and operational sustainment documentation. The BA will work closely with developers, project stakeholders, and operational teams to ensure the successful delivery of project milestones.

The key responsibilities of the BA include:

1. PARIS Integration Support & Coordination:
  • Work closely with the integration developer, providing guidance on business requirements and ensuring alignment with operational needs.
  • Liaise with subject matter experts (SMEs) and technical teams to clarify integration logic and expected system behaviors.
  • Identify and document any gaps, risks, or dependencies related to the integration workstream.
  • Support testing efforts by defining test scenarios and validating that the integration meets functional and business requirements.
2. Report Development Oversight & Tracking:
  • Manage and track the development of key reports required for project success, ensuring alignment with business needs and timelines.
  • Collaborate with end users and report developers to define reporting specifications, validation criteria, and expected outcomes.
  • Maintain a report development tracker, identifying priority reports, dependencies, and any outstanding issues.
  • Facilitate stakeholder reviews to confirm that reports are accurate, useful, and meet operational requirements.
3. Operational Sustainment Documentation:
  • Develop and maintain clear, detailed documentation to support operational sustainment post go-live.
  • Work with operational teams to capture process changes, troubleshooting guides, and system dependencies.
  • Support the transition of project-related knowledge to sustainment teams, ensuring a smooth handover.
  • Assist in developing training materials or FAQs for system users as needed.
4. General Project & Stakeholder Support:
  • Participate in regular project meetings, providing status updates on integration, reporting, and documentation progress.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including PDHIS, clinical, and operational leaders, to resolve challenges.
  • Support project risk and issue tracking, identifying potential roadblocks and proposing mitigation strategies.


Requirements
  • At least 5 to 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with significant experience in healthcare projects.
  • Proven experience leading projects teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • It is preferred that the proponent has knowledge of the workings of community health and/or home support operations within the Health Authority environment/arena
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills for engaging stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Visio, Smartsheet, Excel, Jira and any other project management software.
