Business Analyst, Product

Join our Village as a Business Analyst to support the Digital Product team and Integrated Kidney Care. In this role, you will be the liaison between our Product and Support teams. As a member of the Digital Product Collective, you will be part of a team that is responsible for supporting the Integrated Kidney Care space with the Oracle-Cerner application and our custom-built in-house applications that layer on with Cerner. You will be focused on creating best practices for product ways of working with our support team by developing feedback loops and working to prioritize support asks for our Product teams. In this role, you will also be responsible for leading the teams through our FIT process, which will include timely updates and some project management.  We are seeking an individual that possesses the following skills and experience: _EHR experience including supporting, knowledge of the software development lifecycle, business and data analysis, report analysis, ability to work in a Product and Project model, and ability act as act as a liaison to other departments such as IT, and Business Operations. To be successful, the Business Analyst must have a solid background in report preparation, business analysis, and project management.  Additionally, we expect a candidate to be highly skilled in ServiceNow. This position requires someone with an understanding of support and enhanced problem solving.

Additional duties and skills include:

  • Solid understanding of DaVita Integrated Kidney Care and Business operations
  • Technically skilled with business analysis expertise
  • Ability to recommend solutions
  • Desire to learn more about the Business and processes, as well as eager to develop new processes.
  • Understands Technology and IT Operations
  • Perform 3rd party vendor support activities as needed
  • Solid understanding of Incident and Problem Record management
  • Understanding of how to find data and the owners
  • Report design and ability to present data and strategy to leaders
  • Ability to transcribe or translate business requirements into potential solutions
  • Understands software development practice
  • Provide end user support
  • Streamlining business processes and improving efficiencies where possible
  • Preparing regular status reports and other communications to internal and external stakeholders
  • Concurrently manage several parallel projects and initiatives
  • Ability to think critically, ask good questions, rapidly acquire, synthesize and internalize knowledge from past projects, and employ such knowledge in new initiatives

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience with an EHR application such as Cerner or Epic
  • Ability to provide multi-level reporting and communication
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including email etiquette
  • Proven track record in meeting and accomplishing goals
  • Strong time management skills, ability to prioritize, and the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Innovative approach to problem solving
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with managers at all levels and ability to perform effectively both in independent and team-based work environment
  • Vision and drive to go beyond the call of duty, anticipate the next step and do it without prompting
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to accept high levels of personal responsibility and commitment, initiative, and perseverance

Language Skills

Fluent in the written and verbal skills necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.

Work Environment

Salary/ Wage Range

$56,500.00 - $93,000.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
