DVM 3125 Environmental Policies, Natural Resources Management and Sustainable Development (3 units)
Examination, within the context of developing societies, of the theoretical and empirical bases for contemporary environmental policies; differing approaches to natural resource management; and definitions, models and experiences of sustainable development in the developing countries.
Course Component: Lecture
Prerequisite: 54 university units including DVM 2105, DVM 2106.
Nature of work: Teaching assistant duties include, but are not limited to a combination of tasks such as facilitating discussions, marking papers and exams, personal consultation with students, proctoring, etc.
Qualifications: Candidates must have an interest in International Development and Globalization, and the capacity to communicate clearly in English. Teaching assistant, group facilitation and/or grading experience is an advantage.
