This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 30-minute unpaid break | Eastern Standard Time (EST)

Job Description

As the SEO Specialist for this innovative AC company, you’ll have the opportunity to significantly impact the company’s online visibility and lead generation efforts. You’ll be at the forefront of developing and implementing cutting-edge SEO strategies that will elevate the company’s search engine rankings and drive qualified traffic to their websites. This role offers a unique blend of technical expertise and creative problem-solving, allowing you to optimize both on-page and off-page elements while staying ahead of the latest search engine algorithms. You’ll work closely with a collaborative team to ensure that SEO efforts align seamlessly with overall marketing objectives, directly contributing to the company’s growth and success in a competitive market.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies that dramatically improve search engine rankings and organic traffic
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify high-value opportunities for visibility and traffic growth
  • Optimize website content, structure, and metadata to enhance search engine performance and user experience
  • Spearhead local SEO initiatives, with a focus on improving Google Maps visibility and local search rankings
  • Collaborate closely with the web development and content teams to ensure SEO best practices are consistently implemented
  • Perform regular SEO audits and implement data-driven improvements to maintain and enhance search performance
  • Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and search visibility
  • Monitor and analyze website performance using various SEO tools, providing actionable insights and recommendations
  • Stay at the forefront of SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge
  • Prepare and present comprehensive SEO performance reports, translating complex data into clear, actionable strategies for stakeholders

  • Proven track record in SEO, with demonstrable success in improving search engine rankings and organic traffic
  • Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and the latest SEO best practices
  • Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
  • Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles as they relate to SEO
  • Experience with local SEO strategies and optimizing Google My Business listings
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively about SEO challenges
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and present findings to stakeholders
  • Familiarity with content management systems, particularly WordPress
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in SEO, preferably in a B2C or service-based industry
  • Relevant SEO certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz) are a plus
