The role itself:
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Manually execute test cases across different platforms and document results.
Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs, ensuring they are tracked and resolved.
Perform regression testing to verify fixes and updates do not introduce new issues.
Collaborate with developers and product managers to refine requirements and identify potential risks early.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in manual testing.
Experience Required:
Experience in software quality assurance and manual testing.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with both functional and exploratory testing.
Solid knowledge of SQL for validating data integrity.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
