We are looking for a QA Engineer for a large scale website rebuild project on a fixed term contract. You will play a critical role in testing new website features, maintaining data integrity, and improving automated testing coverage.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and passionate about delivering seamless digital experiences. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and content teams to identify bugs, verify functionality, and ensure accurate content delivery across our platforms.


What are the main responsibilities for this role?

  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure all website features meet the Acceptance Criteria outlined in task descriptions.
  • Conduct functional, regression, and exploratory testing to verify stability and usability.
  • Execute cross-browser and cross-device testing to guarantee a seamless user experience on different screen sizes and environments.
  • Identify and document bugs with clear reproduction steps, working closely with developers to resolve issues efficiently.

 

What skills and experience are required?
(Critical) Experience in Website QA: Prior experience testing websites, ideally built with NextJS and GatsbyJS.

(Critical) Strong Attention to Detail: Ability to spot discrepancies between implementation and task requirements.

(Critical) Understanding of QA Methodologies: Knowledge of functional, regression, and cross-browser testing.

(Critical) Basic Knowledge of Web Development

(Needed) Good Communication Skills in English: Must collaborate effectively with the PM and developers.

(Needed) Proactive problem solver: Ability to identify potential risks, suggest solutions, and contribute to overall project quality.

(Optional) Experience using tools (e.g., Click-up, Fastly, Buildkite) and browser debugging tools.
