Responsibilities
Byers Engineering, a MasTec company, is seeking a full-time qualified QCPermit Specialist. As a QC Permit Specialist, you will manage all facets of permitting.
In addition, you will:
Review permits for quality control, including ROW and/or Pole Make Ready applications
Track and manage Municipality requirements and Client expectations for multiple jurisdictions
Interact with team members including designers and permit specialists to understand the engineered design
Have an understanding and work to meet city, county, and state municipalities expectations relating to permitting
Qualifications
About You:
You have a working knowledge of AutoCAD and the Public GIS Systems
You have the ability to learn different city, county, and state permitting rules and guidelines
You have an understanding of all phases of the permitting process, including To Scale Plan and Profile drawings, TCP’s, applications
You have at least 1-3 years of progressively challenging permitting experience working on FTTH (fiber to the home) projects.
