As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the financial accounting duties for the Technology and Product departments. Working collaboratively with FP&A, Group Reporting and business in ensuring the integrity and hygiene of financial data, providing valuable and meaningful analysis and insights on cost spending, and keeping operations alignment. You will play a key role in supporting management in driving changes to help Finance become the trusted strategic and business partner.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage financial review on bills, PO's and expenses for Technology and Product departments
  • Perform month-end account closing activities in compliance of strict timeline
  • Conduct P&L review with meaningful variance analysis to support monthly result sign-off
  • Facilitate daily bank reconciliation completion in NetSuite
  • Manage Group Prepayment Schedule and Lease schedule
  • Manage Group Fixed Asset Register, including review FAM module setup, design and implement FAM process and workflow
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and follow-ups for timely resolution
  • Perform accounting analysis to support annual budget and rolling forecast
  • Administrate Blackline Balance Sheet system
  • Support audit requests, group statutory reporting and other management reporting requirements
  • Educate finance team members and enforcing high standard BS reconciliations practice
  • Review business processes, identify areas for improvement and propose for solution
  • Play an active role in initiative and project implementation, assist in ensuring progress tracking and delivery
  • Be pro-active in engaging stakeholders for conversations and be able to drive changes


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CA/CPA qualification or near completion
  • 5 years plus experience in an accounting or finance related field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in mid-large tier ERP system and MS Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and solution driven mindset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
