Senior Scientific Advisor to join IQVIA Laboratories in a remote position.

As a Senior Scientific Advisor, will be providing scientific and technical advice to guide and make recommendations on strategy with key Pharma customers for their clinical development programs, such as oncology. You will also be ensuring these match with internal capabilities, coordinating with technical, scientific support, and sales functions across the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific, and China Labs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Serving as the main scientific point of contact, working with internal SMEs to provide global scientific advice to key customers, often acting as the liaison between the customer and the SME.
- Ensuring early engagement between scientists and clinical scientists to provide input on tests, platforms, and associated technical aspects of the trials.
- Facilitating feasibility discussions concerning assay transfer and testing validation to ensure methods fit the study requirements, including new technology evaluation.
- Contributing to scientific activities across the lab network and scientific advisors (e.g., oncology, anatomic pathology, genomics, immunoassays, flow cytometry, CDx/IVD, regulatory).
- Participating in scientific governance meetings.
- Guiding customers towards the capabilities of IQVIA for disease area and other subject matter expertise.
- Providing scientific/technical support for bid defense prep meetings and capability presentations for oncology trials.
- Collating information from internal scientists for bid team requests for information (RFIs), requests for proposals (RFPs), and other queries related to clinical trials.
- Collaborating with internal functions (e.g., marketing, strategy) to help create scientific client-facing material (e.g., slide decks, webinars, newsletters, web content) and represent the organization at conferences and other events.
- Utilizing sound knowledge and understanding of internal processes, practices, and capabilities.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree required or Master's Degree preferred.
- Experience in scientific advisory roles, particularly in clinical development programs.
- Strong understanding of oncology and associated technical aspects of clinical trials.
- Other equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $113,900.00 - $189,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
