Position Purpose
: The EV Sales Specialist will be responsible for identifying and developing applications for tapes and films manufactured by Intertape Polymer Group (IPG) to be used in electric vehicle (EV) battery packs, battery modules, and battery cells. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive experience and contacts within the automotive supply chain, particularly with customers involved in the manufacture of electric vehicles or suppliers supporting the EV industry. This role will also involve close coordination between IPG's R&D, distribution, and third-party testing agencies to ensure products meet customer requirements and industry standards. The EV Sales Specialist will collaborate closely with the sales and product development teams to drive revenue and margin growth in this critical segment

Principal Accountabiliti

  • esServe as the primary technical and market expert for IPG's tapes and films in EV battery applications, including battery pack, module, and cell manufacturers as well as EV OEMs and supplier
  • s.Drive revenue and contribution margin goals for assigned EV product lines, working with Territory Managers, Division Product leaders, and cross-functional team
  • s.Identify, qualify, and foster key EV accounts and applications, building a pipeline of new business opportunities in the automotive EV supply chai
  • n.Develop and maintain strong relationships across the EV supply chain, initiating contact and fostering partnerships with key stakeholder
  • s.Support the entire sales process from needs assessment to contract negotiation, implementation, and post-sale feedbac
  • k.Collaborate with IPG's sales, technical, and product development teams to align product solutions with customer requirements, including technical specifications, testing, and integratio
  • n.Deliver presentations and demonstrations that communicate the value of IPG's EV-focused solutions to stakeholder
  • s.Provide regular market insights, forecasts, and customer feedback to inform product development and strategic plannin
