KLDiscovery, a leading global provider of electronic discovery, information governance and data recovery services, is currently seeking an experienced Associate Director to join the Managed Review Services department.
Responsibilities
Manage document review projects to include project staffing, security, facilities, and technology needs
Ensure that reviews are completed on time and within budget utilizing qualified internal or vendor staff that is available, trained, and productive.
Supervise, train, and mentor other Managers and Team leads and help them develop in their careers
Train teams of other lawyers on the substantive legal issues relevant to each project
Coordinate project communication between clients and KLD
Assist our recruiters and HR personnel in selecting appropriate candidates for projects
Monitor teams’ progress, provide client-facing reporting, and ensure quality work product from start to finish
Ensure coordination and logistic considerations for each project
Validate payroll and time logging at regular intervals
Manage the overall logistics of their team
Manage the senior managers, managers, and associate managers
Assist in hiring and training new team members
Work with internal groups to educate potential clients about MR in India and build the business
Qualifications
Minimum LLB and LLM (would be an added advantage)
Experience in managing PII, HIPPA, and DSAR reviews desired 2+ years of experience managing document review projects
A minimum of 7 years of experience in Document review with at least 3 to 8 years in managing document review projects and client communication
Experience managing review managers
Experience with client communications and tracking estimates
Relativity experience and knowledge required
Detailed-oriented, resourceful, and driven
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Self-starter who is action-oriented and possesses a strong sense of urgency
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and ability to work well with a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel
