What You Will Do:

Associate Director Total Rewards is part of the Collins Total Rewards Centre of Excellence, a global team of experts in compensation and benefits responsible for defining and implementing the Company’s total rewards strategy. You will lead the development of Total Rewards strategy for Germany, France, Holland and other countries as assigned, to ensure our compensation and benefits strategy attracts and retains a diverse talent pool and delivers cost efficiencies. You will work in close collaboration with HRBP’s and Business Leaders on the development and implementation of various reward programmes that deliver business integration and tangible business value.Your primary responsibility will be supporting France and Germany as well as number of countries where we have smaller employee populations. Total Rewards forms a key aspect of our HR transformation initiative and requiring you to provide guidance and expertise in managing change.

The following position is based remotely in Germany. Fluency in German and English is essential and additional languages are desirable.

The role includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Define an EMEA reward strategy that is aligned to the Global Total Rewards strategy and which attracts and retains the talent needed to achieve business goals.
  • Lead major Total Rewards transformation projects including global job framework and salary structure deployment and benefits programme alignment.
  • Support the deployment of HR systems and technologies to effectively manage total reward processes.
  • Responsible for regional implementation of compensation programmes including annual merit and incentive planning and long-term programmes.
  • Monitor market trends and best practices related to reward programmes and recommend implementation strategies that meet business and social partner expectations.
  • Act as a business partner/consultant to the HR community on Total Rewards matters.
  • Champion clear reward communication as part of the overall employee communication and value proposition.
  • Manage integration of vendor relationships across EMEA.
  • Ensure robust governance and compliance with all required internal and external legislation related to compensation and benefit programmes.
  • Drive HR & leader education in all aspects of the Total Rewards agenda.

  • Extensive experience in compensation & benefits and/ or HR with a high degree of international/EMEA exposure in a multicultural environment
  • Ability to influence senior HR & business leader throughout the change management process
  • Strong business acumen and high level of professionalism and judgment
  • Experience in implementing reward strategies in a unionized environment as well as post M&A experience would be advantageous
  • Track record in providing HR solutions through a Centre of Excellence, HRBP & Shared Service organization advantageous
  • Strong team player with a willingness to assist and educate colleagues as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in HR or another related field
  • Fluent in German and English essential. Fluent French desirable.
