About The Role
An NHS Trust in the South East is seeking a Digital Integration Engineer to join its innovative Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme. This is a UK-first project integrating Acute, Mental Health, and Community services into a single, cohesive digital system.
As a key member of the Development and Innovation Team, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Trust Integration Engines (TIEs), working with HL7, FHIR, and databases to enhance system interoperability.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and implement integration solutions within the Trusts digital strategy.
Support the Trust Integration Engine (TIE) for seamless clinical data exchange.
Analyse user requirements and provide technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with NHS standards and best practices.
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Expertise in system integration within healthcare IT (HL7, FHIR, SQL).
Strong understanding of TIE development and support.
Proven ability to troubleshoot, optimise, and document integration solutions.
Experience working in Agile, PRINCE2, or ITIL frameworks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
