About the Role

This role is a prominent role in the region and works with the Regional Consulting Lead, Partners, and Senior Managers to cultivate and lead on the delivery of client engagements and client development initiatives. Our Principals bring industry expertise, provide thought leadership, and serve as trusted advisors to clients. You’ll bring that procurement expertise to help shape the future of our practice, support our clients by solving business challenges across the procurement domain


In the Principal role, you’ll be accountable for:

  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to deliver value for clients and drive benefits through smarter/efficient procurement and negotiations
  • Deliver procurement advice, manage deadlines and deliverables to clients, leading negotiation projects which vary in scope and scale
  • Support market tenders and manage the evaluation across a cross-functional team to determine supplier selection
  • Driving sales and the achievement of regional consulting targets within the procurement sector, creating opportunities and appropriate bids for new projects.
  • Contributing, developing, and responding to client proposals to sell procurement-related negotiation projects, negotiating to achieve optimal commercial terms
  • Understand business requirements and structuring deals to meet those requirements
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, comfortable interacting with C-Suite
  • Lead cross-functional deal and delivery teams and liaise with senior stakeholders.
  • Having client utilization of 45%
  • Contributing to TGP’s collateral through writing insights, creating assets, or developing new ways of working that will aid people throughout TGP


About You:

  • A procurement specialist, deep knowledge in this space, with experience of working in consulting
  • Strong negotiation skillset
  • Background in constructing complex engagement approaches
  • Have led multiple concurrent projects acting as a project lead
  • Great at developing new business, spotting opportunities to grow existing clients and or bring new clients to the TGP brand
  • Be able to develop relationships and manager Senior Executive & C-suite stakeholders.
  • Strong PowerPoint/ pitch deck building experience
  • Enjoy coaching, mentoring and supporting others through their development
