We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Head of Sales and Business Development - EMEA to join our Force Sensors division.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the sales and customer support team across Europe.
  • Senior partner of the management in the territory.
  • Coach, mentor and develop the team.
  • Monitor and report on all sales activity and results.
  • Prepare annual sales budget and quarterly YEFC (year-end forecast) by customer, product, and territory.
  • Explore and develop new business opportunities/ market segments within territory; Increase sales growth and maximize market potential.
  • Selects appropriate subordinate sales staff to ensure smooth growth to support company objectives
  • Organizes and participates in regional meetings to facilitate efficient business practice
  • Willingness to travel across the region up to 50%

Requirements

  • BS in related discipline; MBA is a plus
  • 10+ years of significant experience in sales and business development at a senior level position.
  • Experience in sales and business development of Industrial Automation products /Sensors (weighing, force) to OEMs (Packaging, Robotics, Medical, Machine Builders, Construction, Agriculture etc.).
  • Strong business/finance background and experience
  • Knowledge of commercial transactional process involved with sales
  • Previous experience negotiating multi-year contracts with large, global OEMs
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
