Since 1952, Sunnyfield has grown in-depth and breadth of support services. Working together with families, friends and dedicated staff to support a brighter future for people with disability.
Day to day we deliver nearly 2,000 support services for people with disability, including children, teenagers, adults and seniors. We employ over 1500 staff in NSW and the ACT, to deliver accommodation services, assistance with daily life, social and community participation, supported employment, skills development and support coordination.
Guided by our values of respect, trust, honesty and innovation, it’s Sunnyfield`s mission to enrich the lives of people with disability through person-centred active support that creates choice, opportunities and skills for life.
We’ve been busy little bees at Sunnyfield. We have big plans to better support our people, so they can better support the amazing clients they work alongside. To help spread the love (ok, workload) we’re looking for a HR Manager to lead our HR Business Partnering team.
We’ve got some amazing skillsets in the team and we’re looking for someone with a solid employment relations background to round things out. That doesn’t mean we’re looking for a legal eagle. If quoting horror caselaw at managers to scare them into compliance is your jam, that’s not going to be a good fit for us.
We’re looking for someone who can use their excellent working knowledge of the Australian employment relations landscape to create flexible solutions that consider actual human people who do actual human things.
This is not a pure ER role. You’ll be working across the breadth of HR to support the Head of HR and the People Learning and Culture (PLC) team, led by the GM PLC, to design and deliver practical programs, policies, learning, and advice to help our managers reach their potential and build great teams who can deliver exceptional services and supports to clients.
Ready for success?
Here’s the things we really need you to have. Anything else you bring is a bonus.

What can we offer you?
You can be based anywhere. Sunnyfield has a significant concentration of services including Greater Sydney, Central Coast, or Hunter. Occasional travel is required.
An Employee Assistance Program with a range of programs and services, Fitness Passport, and discounted healthcare because wellbeing for our people matters!
