Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Finance Officer to join a dynamic team! This permanent, full-time role offers competitive remuneration, flexible working hours, and location options. About You

  • Previous experience in a clerical role or office administration is preferred
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software is required
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
  • Positive attitude, high attention to detail, and a proactive approach to work

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day office operations remotely, ensuring smooth processes and efficient work flows
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally and in a timely manner
  • Coordinate staff schedules, appointments, and meeting arrangements
  • Maintain and organise files, records, and documentation
  • Manage office inventory and ensure adequate supplies
  • Oversee company insurance management
  • Assist with financial record-keeping, including invoicing, packing and pallet slips, expenses, reporting, and reconciliations using Xero
  • Book travel and accommodation for staff members
  • Organise company conferences and events
  • Provide administrative support to the team, ensuring operational needs are met
  • Assist with stock management and warehousing
