We’re seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer who is an expert in backend languages and has a strong track record of programmatically manipulating data. If you thrive on designing and building data pipelines, creating data lakes, developing data infrastructure, and managing production operations, this role is for you!
What We Need From You
At least 5 years of commercial experience working within data integrations and interoperability space
Experience in architecting integration solutions at the infrastructure and application architecture level
Expert-level proficiency in at least one of the following languages (no specific language required, but deep expertise is a must): Python, C#, Java, JavaScript, GoLang and ETL tools
Good knowledge of AWS
Expertise in building a highly scalable process for extracting large amounts of structured and unstructured data
Ability to select the right persistence layer/database depending on scope and goals of the initiative
Knowledge of cloud driven solutions dedicated to and supporting ETL processes
Ability to retrieve data through various API protocols (REST, WEBSOCKET, etc.)
Demonstrated use of best practices, which will be a reference for others, setting quality standards for internal and client teams
Eagerness to develop your skills and constantly seeking opportunities for improvement, new learnings & showing a strong "I can learn this" attitude
Being a team player focused on getting things done
We Appreciate If You Have
Familiarity with US healthcare data standards such as: FHIR, HL7v2/v3, C-CDA
Familiarity with one of the EHR solutions from the integration side (EPIC, CERNER, etc.).
Understanding of medical nomenclature and terminology
Strong interest in the topic of new technologies in healthcare
Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure

Salary: based on a Contract of Employment
