Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our development team. As a Senior Backend Developer at Volito Software, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the server-side logic for our client's products to design and deploy new features and technologies.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain high-performance backend systems, ensuring seamless integration with databases and servers, while supporting scalable and efficient application development.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
Troubleshoot, debug and optimize applications for performance and usability.
Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in mobile development.
Collaborate with other team members to integrate front-end and back-end components.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
Participate in the entire application lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in Backend development - Must.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Vast experience in Python - Must (Django - Advantage).
Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures.
Strong expertise in building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS) for deploying and managing backend services.
Proficiency with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, AlloyDB, MySQL) and familiarity with data modeling and optimization.
Knowledge of general web architecture, including authentication, caching, message brokers, and asynchronous processing.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, version control, CI/CD, and documentation.
Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., PySpark, Dataproc) and distributed systems.
Familiarity with GCP services like GKE, GCS, Cloud Build, and AlloyDB.
Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
Familiarity with dbt for data transformation and validation.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
