Quaint Oak Bank is hiring an experienced Commercial Relationship Manager (C & I Lender).

Location: Remote


Position Summary: Quaint Oak Bank is a growing community bank seeking an experienced Commercial Relationship Manager (CRM), preferably familiar with the Greater Philadelphia area, to join our team. The CRM will actively seek out new C&I clients through networking, cold calling, and market research to expand the loan portfolio. The successful candidate will develop loan requests, provide documentation and prepare loan presentations with the support of a credit analyst. Loan sizes range up to $5MM. The CRM will also assist in the periodic collection and review of all updated financial documentation ensuring the credit level is maintained.



Job Requirements & Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for developing new relationships to expand our C & I customer base.
  • Candidates must possess the ability to identify and refer cross-sell opportunities.
  • Assist in negotiating loans and structuring presentations.
  • Participate in monitoring loan repayment activities and take necessary action to collect past due accounts.
  • Assists with documenting loans to ensure complete loan files are maintained.
  • Maintain full understanding of the Bank’s Lending Policy and applicable lending related policies and procedures.
  • May perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
  • Thoroughly evaluate potential borrowers' financial health by analyzing income statements, balance sheets, cash flow projections, and industry trends to assess creditworthiness.
  • Design customized loan packages based on client needs, including loan amount, interest rates, repayment terms, and collateral requirements.
  • Monitor loan performance, identify potential credit risks, and take necessary actions to mitigate risk within the assigned loan portfolio.
  • Adhere to all regulatory lending guidelines and internal bank policies related to credit risk management.


Qualifications & Skills:


  • A high level of analytical skill to assess and evaluate loan risk, credit limitations and appraisals; have a thorough understanding of underwriting and financial data.
  • Ability to communicate effectively throughout the Bank and to represent the Bank positively to the public, cultivating working relationships with current customers and Bank personnel.
  • Experience with Microsoft software, including MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • SBA Lending experience preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred.


Education & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or equivalent work experience is required.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in commercial lending.
