Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field preferred
Proven 1-2 years of previous experience in medical administration or healthcare support roles is advantageous.
Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of medical billing processes
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in computer applications and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Proficient writing and spoken English (including top grammar skills), C1 or C2 level.
Availability to work CST, EST and PT time (40 hours Monday to Friday).
Key Responsibilities:
Appointment scheduling, medication refills and general patient assistance
Maintain electronic health records (EHR) and ensure accuracy and completeness of patient information.
Process patient registrations, insurance verifications, and billing inquiries
Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and other healthcare team members.
Prepare and distribute medical correspondence, reports, and documentation
Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and inventory management
Uphold confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements in all aspects of job performance
