Key responsabilities:

  • Perform daily Xero bank reconciliations and prepare weekly payroll files.
  • Review and tidy up the chart of accounts, ensuring correct cost allocation to general ledger codes.
  • Prepare month/quarter end reports and conduct reconciliations of key Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Complete ad hoc finance and admin tasks, including commentary on actual vs budget results and profitability reports.

Position: Management Accountant | AU Background Experience

Location: Central Luzon

Work setup & shift: Remote | Day Shift

Your Role

As a Management Accountant | AU Background, you are responsible for:

  • Daily Xero bank reconciliations
  • Prepare weekly payroll file
  • Chart of accounts review and tidy up
  • Ensure correct allocation of costs to general ledger codes
  • Debtors review and reporting
  • Accounts payable invoice processing
  • Other ad hoc finance and admin tasks as advised
  • Closing journals including depreciation, interest on loans, payroll allocations etc
  • Reconciliations of key Balance Sheet accounts (eg. Accounts receivable, accounts payable)
  • Review and correct misallocations in the general ledger
  • Review the P&L and Balance Sheet for completeness and accuracy
  • Prepare month/quarter end reports in Excel or software (eg. Spotlight Reporting)
  • Complete basic commentary on actual vs budget results
  • Prepare other ad hoc reports such as sales results, overheads analysis etc
  • Prepare regular product (SKU) profitability reports

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 2 years experience in a management accounting role with background working for AU clients
  • Willingness to take on bookkeeping, payroll, reconciliation and other general accounting tasks
  • Proficient in using Xero and MYOB will be highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Spotlight software experience is a plus
  • Licensed CPA is desirable
  • Knowledge and support of continuous improvement principles and information sharing
  • Ability to plan and coordinate, establish priorities and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated background of reliability and shows initiatives
  • Strong IT skills and a willingness to learn new systems
  • Ability to work autonomously and confident to take on tasks.
  • High accuracy and attention to details
