Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Applications (Practice & Business Systems) Engineer works as a member of a collaborative team responsible for business analysis, planning, designing, coding, integrating, testing, debugging, configuring, supporting, and documenting packaged applications and/or custom developed software. The Engineer performs technical services as required, in the form of software updates/patches, SQL programming, management of scheduled jobs, backend data changes, scripting, file updates, report development and maintenance of select system setups/configuration on assigned applications. Working independently or as a member of multi-disciplinary teams, the Engineer executes projects that support the Firm's technology initiatives. The Engineer is responsible for independently maintaining and upgrading skills through ongoing training, education, Firm sponsored educational events, self-study, and collaboration with peers and provides required work outside of normal working hours as deemed necessary to meet the Firm’s objectives.
