We are seeking a NOC Manager with extensive hands-on experience in AWS-based infrastructures, customer support, and a strong DevOps or SRE background.


This is a key role in ensuring 24/7 coverage, proactive incident management, and the highest level of customer satisfaction. By championing a customer-first mindset, optimizing alerts and automation, and leading both L1 and L2 support, the NOC Manager will directly impact our commitment to world-class service and innovation for startup clients.

Responsibilities


  • Lead, mentor, recruit, and develop NOC engineers through 1:1s, training, and professional growth.
  • Prioritize customer needs with proactive communication, empathy, and transparency.
  • Collect and act on client feedback to improve NOC services.
  • Oversee real-time monitoring and incident response for AWS infrastructures and customer systems, managing L1 and L2 support.
  • Optimize monitoring and automation to reduce false positives and manual work, enhancing efficiency with refined alerts and scripts.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, FinOps, Solution Architects, and Sales to align NOC operations with company goals.
  • Track and improve key operational metrics (e.g., ATTR, MTTR, SLA adherence, NPS, or customer satisfaction), incident management, root cause analysis, and service quality.


Requirements


  • 3+ years of experience leading a 24/7 NOC, DevOps, or SRE team in a cloud-focused or Managed Services environment.
  • A proven record of exceeding SLA/OLA targets and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Deep understanding of AWS services, cloud infrastructure, and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty, etc.).
  • Experience architecting custom monitoring solutions and defining alert thresholds, dashboards, and incident runbooks.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation
  • Familiarity with ITIL or similar frameworks to structure, standardize, and optimize service operations.
  • An analytical mindset is needed for root cause investigation, trend analysis, and iterative optimization to improve NOC performance continuously.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience can substitute for a degree.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices - an advantage
  • AWS, DevOps, or SRE certifications - an advantage
