We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our team at Fossil Group as a Business Development Executive.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing points of sale (POS) in a designated territory, ensuring the successful implementation of the field business plan and driving sales across our extensive product and brand

portfolio.


As the "Face" of the Fossil Group, you will build and maintain strong relationships with all accounts, represent our company and brands, and actively seek new opportunities to promote and sell our products. Your expertise will be key in executing sales strategies, managing POS activities, and delivering on brand guidelines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement & Relationship Building: Spend quality face time with customers, fostering strong relationships through engaging interactions and a confident presence at every touchpoint.
  • POS Management: Plan and execute impactful visits to points of sale (POS) across the territory, ensuring each visit adds value through personalized interactions.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Bring the territory sales strategy to life by actively engaging with customers and ensuring brand alignment at each POS.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Consistently exceed sales targets by leveraging strong rapport, persuasive communication, and tailored sales approaches.
  • Product Promotion: Act as a brand ambassador, passionately presenting new products, brands, and seasonal ranges to drive sell-in and sell-through.
  • Order Management: Guide customers through the ordering process, ensuring seamless transactions using company systems like B2B, VMI, and EDI.
  • Market & Competitor Awareness: Maintain a pulse on competitor activity and market trends, sharing insights that enhance sales strategy.
  • Tactical Sales: Identify real-time sales opportunities at the POS, proactively driving incremental revenue through in-person influence.
  • Training & Development: Conduct engaging product training and updates during visits, ensuring retail teams feel confident and knowledgeable.
  • Territory Reviews: Regularly assess sales performance, using customer feedback and data insights to refine strategies and action plans.
  • Customer Projections: Develop accurate sales forecasts by brand and location, strengthening long-term partnerships with independent retailer


Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Higher education qualification relevant to Sales, Fashion, Visual Merchandising, or Business Analytics.
  • Proven experience in visual merchandising.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in managing a territory and developing sales strategies.
  • Ability to analyze sales reports and trends to drive performance.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to foster strong customer relationships.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Own vehicle and valid driver's licence
