Summary

The Sr. Business Process Analyst drives the strategic execution, provides direction and process recommendations while working with the internal stakeholders to tactically accomplish the tasks at hand; this is a vital link between our information technology team and our business objectives. The focus of this position is to work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of the business processes and the context in which the business unit operates.

This position will support our Customer Experience team and is eligible to work a remote schedule.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leads and manages large and complex projects
  • Collaborates with business groups to gather information from stakeholders, cross-functional team and SMEs to analyze business needs and document requirements to achieve the best results for the business
  • Works with stakeholders to understand their business objectives
  • Evaluates business processes, anticipates requirements, uncovers areas for improvement and develops & implements solutions.
  • Leads process mapping sessions and identify primary flows versus edge cases
  • Documents current state, future state and gap analysis
  • Prepares and deliver presentations
  • Reports on Project status
  • Creates test cases and assists with testing scenarios and validates results
  • Participates in root cause analysis to recommend enhancements or other appropriate actions to improve productivity and efficiency for operational and technology functions
  • Assists in the maintenance of documented processes, procedures and/or work instructions related to the assigned applications and process group
  • Use six sigma techniques and tools to drive Business Process Management (BPM) and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) initiatives assigned
  • Uses and knows the tools tied to key business processes
  • Assists in development of roadmaps and executes against them
  • Partners with training to update, implement and maintain procedures

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in related field of study and/or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of experience as a business analyst that had responsibility for requirement gathering and leading small to medium projects

Travel Requirements

Travel up to 25%
